Cromar AlphaChem Polyurethane 5 Minute Wood Adhesive is a high-quality, solvent-free polyurethane wood bonding adhesive, delivering rapid cure rates for internal and external applications. With EN 204 D4 waterproof certification, it offers exceptional weathering resistance and durability. Polyurethane 5 Minute is designed to withstand temperatures from -30 to +100°C and chemical exposure, it ensures long-lasting bonds in various conditions. Stored between 5-25°C, with a pre-use warming recommendation for cold climates, it maintains its efficacy for up to 12 months.

Cromar AlphaChem Polyurethane 5 Minute Wood Adhesive is ideal for:
- Adhering wood to various substrates, including different types of timber, engineered timber, laminates, and most metals.
- Wood joining applications in construction and manufacturing industries.
- Filling gaps in uneven or imperfect joints effectively.
APPLICATION
- Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or any other contaminants that could affect the bonding process. If cleaning is necessary, use methylethylketone (MEK) or acetone, ensuring compatibility with the substrates.
- Cut the thread and nozzle to the desired size, then apply the adhesive using a sealant gun while wearing gloves.
- Dampen the substrates before application, being careful not to over-wet them. Apply the adhesive to one surface only.
- Assemble the substrates and apply even pressure within 5 minutes of adhesive application. Clamp them until the adhesive has sufficiently cured to handle the bonded item, which typically takes around 5 minutes.
- Any uncured material can be cleaned off using Alpha Chem Grafters All Trades Wipes. After curing, carefully trim any excess material with a sharp knife. Note that the cure time may vary depending on the moisture content in the substrates and the ambient temperature.
LIMITATIONS
- At least one of the substrates to be bonded should be porous or permeable.
- The user bears the responsibility of ensuring the suitability of the product for the intended use.
