Bond It Seal It Accelerator accelerates the application of the Seal It Liquid Membrane
APPLICATION
Surface preparation should align with the guidelines for SEAL IT ONE COAT LIQUID MEMBRANE. For bitumen coatings, initiate the process by priming with SEAL IT PRIMER. To prevent overspill, consider using a separate mixing bucket for combining the ACCELERATOR and LIQUID MEMBRANE. Alternatively, you can extract a small amount of LIQUID MEMBRANE from the tin before introducing the ACCELERATOR.
Mixing: Maintain a mixing ratio of approximately 1L of ACCELERATOR to 20L of LIQUID MEMBRANE. For 5L of LIQUID MEMBRANE, incorporate 250ml of ACCELERATOR. Before use, shake and thoroughly mix the components by hand, employing a paddle at a slow speed setting. Ensure even distribution of the ACCELERATOR throughout the entire tin. Take caution not to mix too rapidly, as excessive air introduction may lead to pin-holing in the final coating.
Drying Times: The product will cure in 2 hours and attain full hardness within 24 hours.
Cold Weather Applications: If applying SEAL IT LIQUID MEMBRANE below 5°C (41°F) for normal-speed full cure (average 1mm per 24hrs), use SEAL IT ACCELERATOR. When using SEAL IT ACCELERATOR, mix one tin at a time and use immediately to prevent curing in the container.
