Bond It Pro Mate is designed for sealing around doors and windows, as well as general building maintenance purposes. It exhibits outstanding adhesion capabilities, ensuring effective bonding for glass to glass, glass to aluminium, glass, ceramics, and a variety of common building materials.
APPLICATION
To apply, use a standard sealant gun. Carefully cut the tip from the cartridge, avoiding damage to the screw thread. Trim the nozzle at a 45° angle and attach it to the cartridge. Apply the sealant to the joint using a caulking gun. Within 5 minutes, use a SEALANT APPLICATOR TOOL or a wet spatula to smooth the sealant. For health and safety reasons, avoid using your fingers to tool the sealant.
Tools can be cleaned with WHITE SPIRIT or Bond It MULTI-WIPES before the curing process begins.
LIMITATIONS
Inappropriate for application on unprimed metals, cements, or concrete. In regions prone to fungal or mold development, it is advisable to use Bond It MULTI-MATE silicone. Joints where water exerts hydrostatic pressure through the substrates, affecting the sealant bond, necessitate corrective measures before application. It’s important to emphasize that this product is not recommended for use in securing double glazed units.
