Bond It Gp200 serves as an ideal solution for sealing and waterproofing in high-humidity environments. With outstanding adhesion properties, it adheres excellently to glass, glazed surfaces, ceramic tiles, various plastics, and most paints. This versatile sealant is well-suited for a range of applications, including kitchen worktops, bathrooms, showers, utility rooms, and various do-it-yourself (DIY) projects.
APPLICATION
To apply, use a standard sealant gun with the nozzle cut at a 45° angle, ensuring the opening is slightly larger than the joint to be sealed. Employ a stick, plastic spatula, or the Bond It SEALANT APPLICATOR TOOL, moistened with soapy water, for precise tooling. Avoid application on wet surfaces, although immediate wetting afterward poses no adverse effects. Tools can be cleaned with white spirit before the curing process.
For maintenance, this sealant is resistant to all common household cleaning chemicals. In showers and bathrooms, optimal results are achieved with a weekly cleaning routine to prevent organic buildup. Stains can be effectively removed using commercial bleach.
LIMITATION
For unprimed surfaces such as bare ferrous metals, brass, copper, lead, aluminum, or zinc, consider utilizing Bond It ULTIMATE Silicone Sealant. Avoid its use on surfaces where water can penetrate through porous materials to the bond interface without prior remedial work. It is not recommended for fixing mirrors or sealing natural marble. Additionally, refrain from using it on bitumen or asphalt surfaces. Note that white and transparent variants may exhibit yellowing over time if exposed to direct sunlight.
