Important: Always ensure thorough cleaning before separating the gun from the foam canister. Prior to replacing the foam canister, close the valve, remove the empty canister, and promptly replace it with a full one.

AlphaChem Gun Grade Expanding Foam is perfect for filling large, irregular, or awkward gaps, expanding to entirely fill the space. It’s also great for fixing and insulating window and door frames, securing boards in place, and insulating various areas like between brickwork and cladding, around ductwork, and through cavities carrying pipes and cables. Additionally, it serves as an excellent backing material for low expansion joints.
APPLICATION
- Ensure that all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, dry, and free from any dust, grease, or other contaminants.
- The optimal temperature for the can is around +20°C, while the application temperature should range between +5°C and +30°C.
- Before use, make sure to shake the can well.
- Attach the can securely onto an applicator gun, being cautious not to overtighten.
- Enhance adhesion and shorten cure time by moistening both the surfaces and the foam.
- When applying the foam, invert the can and squeeze the trigger. Adjust the foam output using the trigger and control it further with the adjustment screw on the gun’s backside. Maintain the can upside down throughout the application process.
- For filling purposes, fill the hole halfway with foam, as post-expansion will fully occupy the space.
- When fixing door and window frames, utilize wedges to secure the frame until it fully cures, typically within approximately 24 hours.
- After each use, keep the gun attached to the can of foam. To reuse, simply break the foam nib at the end of the gun applicator nozzle, shake the can, and resume application.
LIMITATIONS
- Store and transport the product in an upright position.
- Avoid storing above +25°C or below +5°C to maintain shelf life.
- Allow the product to reach room temperature for at least 12 hours before application.
- Note that cured foam may discolor when exposed to ultraviolet light.
- For optimal outdoor performance, consider painting or coating the cured foam.
- Keep in mind that lower temperatures can affect yield and curing time.
- Users are responsible for verifying suitability before use.
