Bond It Sealacryl Roof Coating is a high-performance, acrylic-based roof coating designed to provide superior protection and waterproofing for various roof surfaces. With its excellent adhesion and durability, this roof coating offers an effective solution for both residential and commercial roofing applications. It forms a flexible and seamless barrier that shields the roof from weathering, UV radiation, and water ingress, extending its lifespan and preserving its integrity.
Key Points:
– Waterproof and Weatherproof: Bond It Sealacryl Roof Coating creates a robust waterproof membrane that effectively seals the roof against water penetration. It offers exceptional resistance to rain, snow, and other weather elements, ensuring long-lasting protection and preventing leaks. The coating’s weatherproof properties make it suitable for use in diverse climates and environmental conditions.
– Reflective and Energy-Efficient: This roof coating features a highly reflective surface that helps reduce heat absorption from the sun. By reflecting a significant amount of solar radiation, it aids in maintaining a cooler roof temperature, which can contribute to improved energy efficiency and reduced cooling costs. Its reflective properties make it especially beneficial in warmer climates.
– UV Resistant: Bond It Sealacryl Roof Coating is formulated to withstand the damaging effects of UV radiation. It provides excellent UV resistance, preventing premature aging, fading, and deterioration of the roof surface. The coating helps maintain the roof’s appearance and structural integrity over an extended period.
– Seamless and Flexible: The roof coating forms a seamless layer that adapts to the roof’s contours and movements. It remains flexible even in varying temperatures, accommodating thermal expansion and contraction without cracking or compromising the waterproofing ability. This flexibility ensures long-term durability and performance.
– Easy Application and Maintenance: Bond It Sealacryl Roof Coating is easy to apply with a brush or roller, providing a smooth and consistent coverage. It can be applied to various roof substrates, including concrete, metal, bitumen, and felt. The coating requires minimal maintenance and can be recoated if necessary to prolong the roof’s lifespan and enhance its protective properties.
Note: Before applying Bond It Sealacryl Roof Coating, ensure that the roof surface is clean, dry, and free from loose debris. Repair any existing damage or leaks before application. Stir the coating thoroughly before use and apply it evenly with a brush or roller, following the manufacturer’s instructions. Apply multiple coats if necessary to achieve the desired thickness and coverage. Allow sufficient drying time between coats and before exposing the coating to foot traffic or adverse weather conditions. Consult the product label or technical data sheet for specific application guidelines and safety precautions. Store the coating in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

APPLICATION
Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are structurally sound, clean, dry, and free from contaminants like grease, rust, and dirt. Use a wire brush to clean metals and eliminate any contamination for a better adhesion. If necessary, address organic growth, such as moss or lichen, with a fungicidal wash like Bond It MOULD STOP. Repair any cracks, splits, small holes, and flashings, and confirm that the treatment area is devoid of standing water. While SEALACRYL typically requires no primer on most surfaces and can tolerate damp surfaces, it is advisable for optimal results to apply it on a dry surface whenever possible. Conduct an adhesion test before application to determine the need for a primer.
Application: Do not thin the product. Apply SEALACRYL using a brush or roller. Begin by treating all details, and in areas with excessive movement, consider incorporating additional reinforcement into the coating. While SEALACRYL can be applied in one coat, a two-coat application is recommended for a more uniform coating thickness based on experience.
Drying Time: Typically, the drying time is 24 hours, depending on ambient temperature and ventilation conditions.
LIMITATIONS
Inappropriate for application on balconies and walkways. This product contains solvents that may adversely affect certain materials. If uncertain, it is recommended to conduct a test before using.
