Bond It Roof Mate is designed for the repair and upkeep of general roofing and roof drainage systems. This product creates a flexible seal that can accommodate up to 5% movement and retains its flexibility for a duration of up to 15 years. It proves effective for various surfaces, including metal, construction-grade plastics, paint, stone, brick, and bitumens.
APPLICATION
Apply the product using a standard sealant gun. Carefully cut the tip from the cartridge, ensuring not to damage the screw thread. Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle and attach it to the cartridge. Use a caulking gun to forcefully apply the sealant into the joint.
When sealing a deep joint, it is advisable to use backing tape. After application, feather smooth any high spots of material to prevent the buildup of water.
For emergency repairs in wet conditions, opt for Bond It RAIN-MATE.
ROOF & GUTTER MATE maintains a consistently putty-like texture permanently. However, it is not suitable for applications where surface contact is likely.
Clean tools with WHITE SPIRIT or Bond It MULTI-WIPES before the curing process takes place.
