Cromar AlphaChem Powder Mortar Tone is used for permanently changing the colour of all types of mortars and concretes.
APPLICATION
- For full strength colour, use 1/2kg of Powder Mortar Tone for every 10kg of cement.
- Reducing the amount of Powder Mortar Tone will result in weaker colour intensity.
- For 50kg bags of mortar or mortar mix, 1/2kg of colourant is sufficient.
- For fine course mixes, using 20% less colourant will achieve a similar strength.
- Add the colourant to the dry mix and disperse it before adding clean water.
- To maintain consistency of colour in each mix, use the same grades of cement, sand, and aggregates, as variations can impact the final colour.
- Iron oxide pigments adhere to BS EN 12878:2014 standards.
