Cromar AlphaChem Accelerator, Frostproofer and Hardener is a heat-generating accelerator designed for cement-based mixes. Here are four key points about Accelerator, Frostproofer & Hardener:
High Early Strength: Facilitates the production of high early strength concrete, cement render, and mortar, ensuring rapid development of strength.
Cold Weather Aid: Accelerator, Frostproofer and Hardener is suitable for use as an aid to cold weather working, as the heat generated offsets the retarding effect of low temperatures, allowing for efficient construction in colder climates.
Versatile Application: Ideal for a variety of applications, including accelerating concrete curing, improving frost resistance, and enhancing overall durability.
Efficient Performance: Provides fast and effective results, optimizing the efficiency of construction projects, particularly in challenging weather conditions.
Store in an upright position in cool and dry conditions, ideally within the temperature range of +5°C to +40°C.

APPLICATION
- Combine with gauging water at a ratio of 2.5 liters of Accelerator, Frostproofer & Hardener to 22.5 liters of water, up to a maximum of 5 liters to 20 liters. The recommended usage is 2.5 to 5 liters per 50 kilograms of cement, with an optimal rate of 20 liters per cubic meter of mix for large-scale production.
- During cold weather conditions, adhere to the following precautions:
- Cover aggregates and sand to shield them from frost.
- Ensure water is free from ice and not frozen; if feasible, use warm water in extremely cold weather.
- Cover completed work to retain generated heat, keeping it covered for at least 48 hours.
- Minimize gauging water usage and always employ sound concreting practices in accordance with current codes of practice.
LIMITATIONS
- The manufacturer cannot anticipate all potential uses of its products, so it is the user’s responsibility to assess suitability for their intended application.
- Before use, carefully review the label for essential health and safety information. It’s crucial to consult the safety data sheet beforehand for detailed information.
