Bond It Superglue Activator enhances adhesion on challenging surfaces, particularly those with slight acidity, and prevents adhesive penetration into porous materials. It also accelerates the curing process of adhesive fillets. It is compatible with the Bond It cyanoacrylate adhesives (HCV1620/50 and RGC2420/50). It expedites the development of strength, allowing for the immediate use of the bonded part.
APPLICATION
To enhance adhesion on challenging surfaces, start by applying SUPERGLUE ACTIVATOR. For fillets, begin with the application of the superglue. The overall speed of the bonding process is contingent on the adhesive type and viscosity.
Crucially, when used on uPVC, exercise caution as excessive application of the accelerator may lead to staining. This discoloration might not be immediately apparent and could manifest several hours after application. Perform a test application on a sample to determine the appropriate level and prevent any staining on the final job. Using a straw attached to the nozzle is recommended for optimal material delivery.
