Bond It RGC Superglue is a fast-curing adhesive specifically designed for effective adhesion to a wide range of rubbers and plastics. The cured adhesive exhibits excellent resistance to humidity and forms strong bonds with EPDM and SBR rubbers.
It is suitable for bonding:
- Synthetic rubber gaskets in glazing systems.
- Assembly of rubber bush systems.
- Timbers.
- Various plastics.
APPLICATION
Ensure that all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease. Apply adhesive to only one surface. Bring the components together immediately and ensure perfect alignment. Once the components are joined, repositioning is not possible. Apply light pressure without moving the joint for at least 5 seconds, and avoid handling until the specified bonding time has elapsed.
The polymerization of cyanoacrylates is triggered by atmospheric moisture. Optimal results are achieved when the relative humidity exceeds 50%. Higher humidity levels minimize monomer evaporation, thus reducing the accumulation of fumes. For continuous bonding processes, maintain good ventilation to ensure a safe working environment.
LIMITATIONS
Inappropriate for the permanent bonding of glass. Surfaces containing oil or grease are not conducive to bonding. Specialized bonding techniques may be necessary for olefinic or fluoropolymer materials.
