Bond It All Weather Roof Compound is used as a robust brush coating for waterproofing roofs and resealing existing roofs made of mastic asphalt, roofing felt, corrugated iron, fiber/cement slates, lead, copper, and zinc. Particularly recommended in situations where the risk of frost or rain makes the use of an emulsion impractical.
APPLICATION
ENSURE PROPER MIXING BEFORE APPLICATION.
Apply ALL WEATHER ROOFING COMPOUND using a brush or broom, with each coat perpendicular to the previous one, at a maximum rate of 0.75 liters per square meter. Allow each coat to thoroughly dry. If necessary, reinforce with either an open woven glass fiber membrane or an open mesh polyester membrane.
Important Note: This material should be applied solely to completely dry surfaces, and meticulous care must be taken to guarantee that when applied to bitumen felt, no moisture is trapped within the felt.
To extend the effective lifespan of the dried coating, it is advisable to overcoat it with Bond It SOLAR REFLECTIVE PAINT. However, allow at least 10 days before applying the reflective coating.
LIMITATIONS
• Avoid application in areas where future solvent contact is anticipated.
• Inappropriate for use in potable drinking water tanks.
• Ensure an ample drying period between coats.
• Be aware that bitumen paint may seep through subsequent paint layers. Prior to overpainting, use a primer recommended by the paint manufacturer.
