Bond It Mitre System works best when utilized together, a near-instant connection is established, making it highly effective. This is particularly advantageous for delicate joints like mitres, where achieving a visually appealing and tight joint is crucial.
Suitable for bonding:
- MDF chipboard.
- Oak.
- Pine.
- All commonly used timbers.
- PVCu.
- Rubber.
APPLICATION
Spray a fine mist of aerosol on one side of the joint and let it dry. If feasible, apply it to the less noticeable side of the assembled joint. Add adhesive to the opposite side and promptly bring the surfaces together, applying gentle pressure.
NOTE: While suitable for uPVC, excessive use of the accelerator may cause staining. This discoloration may not manifest immediately and could become apparent several hours after application. Conduct a test on a sample to determine the appropriate application level and prevent any staining on the final project.
LIMITATIONS
Inappropriate for permanently bonding glass. Surfaces that are oily or greasy are not conducive to bonding. Specialized bonding techniques may be necessary for olefinic or fluoro polymers.
