Cromar RubberCoat is for application on stationary concrete, masonry, metal, and wood surfaces. Suitable for interior use over concrete, masonry, tile, wood, and drywall.
APPLICATION
RubberCoat is typically applied using a roller, paint brush, or hydraulic piston sprayer.
SURFACE PREPARATION: Before application, ensure the surface is clean, dry, stable, and free from spalling, efflorescence, dust, dirt, oils, flaking paint, glossy surfaces, sealers, salts, and other contaminants that may affect adhesion and performance. For new concrete, allow a minimum of 30 days for curing before applying RUBBER COAT. New masonry surfaces should cure for at least 48 hours before application, with exterior surfaces power washed using a minimum of 1500 psi to remove contaminants. For interior concrete surfaces, scrub with TSP (trisodium phosphate). For wood floor surfaces, thoroughly vacuum and wipe clean.
MIXING: Generally, stirring the contents before application is not necessary.
RUBBER COAT APPLICATION: Ensure ambient temperatures are between 5°C and 35°C during application and for at least 24 hours afterward. Avoid direct sunlight and applying over coal tar, solvents, or solvent-type adhesives.
CURE TIME: At 25°C and 50% relative humidity, RUBBER COAT fully cures in 24–48 hours. Curing time may vary based on thickness, temperature, and humidity, so consider environmental conditions before application.
