Cromar Oxidised Bitumen 95/25 is a bitumen derived from the air blowing process of penetration grade bitumen, conducted at high temperatures. This process results in a material with a significantly higher penetration index. Primarily used in the industrial sector, this product demonstrates reduced susceptibility to temperature variations compared to paving grade bitumen and maintains a more solid consistency at ambient temperatures. The designation “95/25” indicates the midpoint of the softening point acceptance criteria, followed by the midpoint of the penetration acceptance criteria, as specified in the provided specification.
