Bond It Floor & Glass Protectors are ideal for the following applications:
- Temporary, low-tack self-adhesive film designed for protecting hard surfaces.
- Suitable for lacquered and plastic surfaces, aluminum, stainless steel, vinyl, hardwoods, laminates, glass, hard PVC surfaces, worktops, cabinets, cills, and furniture.
- Effortless application – unwind, roll, and COVER-IT for quick and easy protection.
- Waterproof properties ensure effective shielding against moisture.
- Offers a safer alternative to loose dust sheets and heavy-duty coverings, with tear-resistant features.
- Applicable and effective within a temperature range of +15°C to +25°C.
APPLICATION
Before applying the protective film extensively, conduct a compatibility test in an inconspicuous area. Make certain that the surface is devoid of dust, moisture, and grease.
For flooring applications, position the roll on the floor with the open end directed away from the intended application direction. Peel approximately 300mm (12 inches) of the protective cover, firmly affixing it to the surface. Progressively push the roll forward, either using your foot or a soft brush, ensuring it follows a straight line. Smooth out the film as it unwinds to eliminate air bubbles or creases. Verify that the film is securely and correctly positioned before commencing any work.
When applying to other surfaces, peel approximately 300mm (12 inches) of COVER-IT and securely adhere it to the surface by hand. Unwind the roll, smoothing it down as you push it forward to cover the surface.
For glass/windows, this product is suitable for use when painting window frames and sills.
LIMITATIONS
- In uncommon situations, COVER-IT may leave adhesive residues on specific surfaces; therefore, it is advisable to conduct test areas before applying.
- Always ensure that COVER-IT is firmly affixed to the surface before starting any work to minimize the risk of slips, trips, and falls.
- Replace COVER-IT after a duration of 4 weeks. Any unforeseen residue can be easily removed manually or with Bond It MULTI-WIPES, depending on the surface. Before use, confirm the compatibility of surfaces with the wipes in an inconspicuous area. Bond It FOIL SAFE CLEANER is also suitable if the surface permits.
- Avoid using underfloor heating while COVER-IT is in place or 24 hours before application.
- In high-traffic areas or when exposed to excessive light or heat, consider replacing at least once a week, checking for any residues left on the surface.
- Intended for single-use only; dispose of appropriately.
