APPLICATION
- Application Method: Cold Gritting Adhesive should be applied using a stiff brush, mop, or squeegee.
- Storage Tip: To prevent thickening in cold weather, store Cold Gritting Adhesive in a warm room overnight before use.
- Slope Compatibility: Suitable for roofs with up to a 10º slope.
- Surface Preparation:
- Ensure all surfaces are free from oil, dirt, dust, and loose debris.
- Ideally, the surface should be dry, although application on a damp surface (not wet or waterlogged) is acceptable.
- Application Procedure:
- Spread the compound evenly directly from the container in convenient 20m² areas.
- Avoid pooling of the solution and ensure the covering is not too thin.
- Apply chippings immediately into the wet film, ensuring they cover the film shoulder to shoulder.
- Completion and Cleanup:
- Leave completed areas for at least 72 hours.
- Afterward, lightly brush off any excess chippings.
- Ensure no blank film is left exposed.
- Proceeding to the Next Area:
- Once an area is completed, move on to the next 20m² area.
These steps ensure proper application and adherence of the Cold Gritting Adhesive for optimal results.
